Ethereum core developers and the team behind Base announced agreement on a shared wallet interaction standard, ending months of back-and-forth over how cross-chain signing requests should be formatted.
The change
The standard defines a common schema for transaction previews, reducing the risk of blind signing across L2 networks. Major wallet providers are expected to ship support within the next release cycle.
